Description:
Conveniently located less than 30 minutes from downtown St. Paul, Woodloch Stable is one of the largest boarding facilities in the Twin Cities metro area. We welcome all breeds and disciplines! With our two indoor arenas, outdoor arenas, jumping arena, one-mile track, and trails, we have plenty of space for most any equine activity. We're situated on 180 acres of fields, woods, and trails.
Woodloch Stable was founded by lifelong horseman Dan Ramberg. It's been a family-run business for over 25 years, with three generations of Rambergs living on site. That means you can count on consistent, quality care from experienced professionals - with a family touch.
Here at Woodloch, we pride ourselves on maintaining a relaxed, comfortable, and supportive learning environment. We have customers of all ages and experience levels. Everyone is welcome, from casual trail riders to serious competitors. Our experienced, friendly staff is available to make sure you get the help you need.
Woodloch Stable offers quality full care board at affordable prices. Board includes use of a stall, hay and grain fed twice per day, daily stall cleaning, and daily turnout. Our hay is home-grown and excellent quality. We feed natural grains which are crimped fresh each day for maximum nutritional value. Stalls are bedded once per week on Fridays; additional bedding is provided by the staff as needed and charged to the owner at a discounted rate. Horse trailer parking is available to our boarders at no extra cost.
The Woodrunn barn has forty-eight 12x12 stalls with automatic waterers. Stalls are arranged in bays of five, which branch out from a wide center aisle. This keeps the center aisle clear for traffic, while the bays provide plenty of out-of-the-way space to groom and tack up. Eight-foot light fixtures provide bright, even lighting throughout the barn. Boarders can store their tack in one of five spacious shared tack rooms.
The Woodrunn barn is heated by a geothermal air exchange system, supplemented in the colder months by a fan-fed furnace. Throughout the winter, the barn is kept at a constant temperature of around 40 degrees. The attached indoor arena is also heated during peak hours. The Woodrunn lounge is kept at 68 degrees. It's stocked with mugs and a microwave -- perfect for hot chocolate or tea on those cold winter days!

The Woodloch barn has thirty-seven stalls laid out in an "L" shape. The long side has 10x10 stalls, two shared tack rooms, and a wash stall/grooming area with cross ties. The short side has 10x12 stalls with attached tack lockers. Each locker has bridle hooks, two saddle racks, and a shelf for storing gear.
The attached 65x135 indoor arena features skylights and a heated lounge with viewing windows. There is an additional seating area with benches in the arena itself.
Board in the Woodloch barn is $275 for a 10x10 stall and $285 for a 10x12 stall with locker. Please contact us for availability.
Boarders in both barns enjoy full use of all our facilities, including our two indoor arenas, two outdoor arenas, mile track, and riding trails. Fend off the chilly Minnesota weather in our comfortable Woodrunn lounge, which features bathrooms, tables, couches, a TV with DVD player, a microwave, and a refrigerator.
