Description: We are doing a partial lease on our horse. He is best for riders who prefer to mainly walk. He may be big, but he's really just a puppy dog. While I would say he is appropriate for advanced/confident beginners on up, in order to lease, you will need to know how to saddle & bridle a horse. You'll also need to be able to handle a horse on your own on the ground and in the saddle.
We will pay for all of his expenses (i.e. vet, farrier, stall board fees, etc.). All you have to pay is the monthly lease fee of $75-$95/month (price depends upon length of lease agreement). This will give you one day every week with Oreo. The use of our tack is included with the lease price. The lease can be for a set period of time, or it can be month-to-month (at the higher monthly rate).
Many of the people who have leased from us have said our leasing set-up has been perfect for them...the one day per week has been easy to fit into their busy schedule & the monthly price is easy to fit into their budget. They seem to love the fact that it's a very cost-effective route to get their "horse fix" in...especially when you compare it to getting your horse fix via lessons or trail rides. In addition, lessons or trail rides only give you about an hour with the horse and both tend to be very structured. Either one can be more than $100/month for the same amount of rides. The great thing about our lease is that you can take your time and do your own thing. Add in the tons of amenities of where we board and it makes for a great combination!
The place where we board is conveniently located between 35E & Hwy. 61, near Hugo, MN (NE metro). There are 2 indoor arenas (one is insulated and heated) where you can ride no matter what the weather is like outside. There are several heated lounges on-site with TVs & microwaves. There are also 2 outdoor arenas, as well as plenty of places to ride on the property (including a 1 mile track) & private trails. It's a very family-friendly facility with a good mix of Western & English riders, as well as a good mix of ages. Lessons (optional & a separate charge) are available on-site with various trainers to choose from. Lessons can be Western or English, depending on your preference.
Please send me an email for more info & pics.
If you're interested in leasing, but this horse doesn't sound right for you, ask us about the other horses we have for lease.
(PLEASE NOTE: If you are a minor, you MUST have your parent/guardian contact us. Also, this is for an on-site lease only and this horse is not for sale.) |
