Description:
We are looking to find my husband an easy more beginner friendly horse. Want a draft like horse that trail rides and is bomb proof. Prefer not to have to shoe. Age, gender, breed or looks do not matter. Must walk, trot, canter.
Registered 6 YO TB gelding. Retired Steeplechase. 15.3hh Loves to jump. Would make a great jumper for a teenager or anyone looking for a horse to have a lot of fun on. Very easy to ride. Not a typical TB. He’s on the lazy side but responsive. Great for trail rides. Does not spook. Will ride alone or in groups. Easy to catch, bathe, load. Great ground manners. Loves kids and good around dogs. This is my husbands horse. He is a beginner rider and feels that he is to big for the horse. The horses talents are being wasted just being walked around the farm. He would make someone a great pleasure horse or show horse. I’m sure he would even enjoy lessons. He does crib but we keep a miracle collar on him and he leaves the fences alone.
